About Park Hills

Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Matthew 28:19-20

Knowing, Loving, Following Jesus

Park Hills exists to help our community grasp who Jesus Christ really is and understand what it means to be His followers.

Who We Are

We are a community sharing a common faith in God and the Lord Jesus Christ. This faith is what binds us together as a spiritual family and unites us in a common purpose. It is our desire to be a biblical people of perspective - sharing, growing, and learning together about God and His purposes for our lives.

We are part of the Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA), an association of about 1,250 autonomous churches united by a mutual commitment to serve the Lord Jesus Christ with the guidance of the Holy Spirit and in obedience to the Word of God. If you would like to know more about the EFCA click here.

Our Vision

Foster authentic disciple-making relationships as we carry Jesus into everyday life.

Our Purpose

Park Hills Church’s purpose is found in equipping the people of our congregation to be able to share the good news about Jesus Christ with others in our community and world, and teach others how to follow Jesus Christ. We believe God has called us together as a church to share the good news about what Jesus Christ has done for humanity, and helping others develop their faith in God. As we pursue purpose, we learn how to deal with life’s issues from a biblical perspective.

Our Approach

We strive to be an encouragement to our members and a light to our community by taking truth from the Bible and applying it to our culture in relevant ways. The Principles we follow in our approach can be summed up in three words:

Biblical – the Bible is our authority and guide for all we do.

Freedom – each person has the freedom to grow and the freedom to serve as our Lord leads.

Simplicity – we keep the process and the administration as simple as possible.
